Module 1, part 1: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 8 minutes
During this first module, Dr Fairbairn discusses using EthOss to treat routine bone loss cases according to his published Protocol.
This Protocol outlines the benefits of a 3-4 week healing period post-extraction, giving time for soft tissues to close over the site and enable easier Primary Closure, and simultaneous grafting alongside implant placement.
During this module Dr Fairbairn also discusses flap design, suture techniques and the importance of thorough cleaning / degranulation prior to grafting.
Module 1, part 2: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 12 minutes
Advice and techniques for optimising socket grafting outcomes with EthOss, including looking at options for covering / closing the site and how to effectively clean extraction sockets prior to graft placement.
Module 2: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 15 minutes
Advice and techniques for optimising socket grafting outcomes with EthOss, including looking at options for covering / closing the site and how to effectively clean extraction sockets prior to graft placement.
Module 3: Dr Dominic O'Hooley, 20 minutes
A series of case studies looking at using EthOss in immediate cases, showing how the material is well-suited to these procedures.
Module 4: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 12 minutes
Looking at both vertical and horizontal techniques, including combining EthOss with lateral windows and bone densification to achieve optimum, consistent results in sinus augmentation procedures.
Module 5: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 12 minutes
Discusses the innovative "Push-in" implant technique with zero primary stability, alongside case studies using EthOss to treat Cysts and Apicetomies and Tunnel Grafting procedures.
Module 6: Dr Michael Ainsworth, 12 minutes
An innovative procedure utilising resorbable PDS sutures in a "tenting" technique to increase graft stability in larger builds.
Module 7: Dr Wasim Fazel, 10 minutes
Partial extraction therapy is very much in its infancy - the evidence is very young but extremely promising. When a tooth is extracted within the buccal palatal dimension it will often collapse. Learn the steps to how to preserve that particular aspect to ensure the collapse does not occur.
Module 8: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 3 minutes
Discusses how to treat cysts with EthOss. This short module examines how to help regenerate a reasonably extreme cyst case, and end up with a long-term, stable implant where hard and soft tissues are regenerated by the host.
Module 9: Dr Peter Fairbairn, 4 minutes
Grafting the socket post-extraction of impacted wisdom teeth is an interesting procedure with several potential benefits, particularly relating to the adjacent teeth. This video covers the steps, key considerations and expected outcomes using EthOss in this setting.
Short animated video showing how EthOss should be prepared, mixed and placed into the surgical site and dried with a sterile gauze, activating the integrated cell-occlusive barrier which prevents the need for a separate collagen membrane
